Departmental Leadership

Each department of Swerdlin & Company is led by either a member of the Leadership Management Team (LMT) or a Team leader. To view the LMT members, click here.

Cafeteria Plan Services (FlexPak)

Glenda Devechio is Vice President of Operations and Finance at Swerdlin & Company. She works closely with other members of LMT on strategic planning, employee relations and staffing needs. She oversees all human resources and benefits provided to the Swerdlin employees. Glenda is also responsible for financial reporting and all operations, as well as coordination with Swerdlin's accountants, attorneys and vendors. Glenda joined Swerdlin & Company in 1995. She was instrumental in creating our Cafeteria 125 services and currently manages the Cafeteria Department (FlexPak).

Daily Recordkeeping Services (DayPak)

Lee I. Swerdlin is a Vice President at Swerdlin & Company. Lee joined Swerdlin & Company in 1998 as an entry level Benefits Assistant. Over the years, he has become heavily involved in new business development and client relations. Lee is currently responsible for managing the Swerdlin Daily Recordkeeping Department (DayPak). Lee is a member of the Southern Employee Benefits Conference and The National ESOP Association.

Information Technology (IT)

Randy Pflueger serves as Swerdlin & Company's IT Manager and keeps the systems running, up-to-date and safe. He has over 30 years experience with computers and networks and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He majored in Business Management at Pierce College in California and has taught MCSE courses at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia. He acquired his knowledge and initial experience in electronics and computers while serving in the USAF. He then went to work in various Aerospace and Defense Industry firms. He has worked on programs such as the Space Shuttle, the B1 and B2 bombers, and worked for the company that was one of the first to produce Global Positioning System receivers.

Traditional Defined Contribution Services

Susan Petrirena, Defined Contribution Manager for traditional defined contribution services, joined Swerdlin & Company in 1994. Susan entered the field of employee benefits almost 25 years ago, working with the administration of self-funded group health insurance contracts and Taft-Hartley Pension Plans. She has extensive experience in all types of retirement plans, including ESOPs, 401(k), 457, and nonqualified. She is a member of the Advisory Committee of the National ESOP Association. She is heavily involved in plan design, compliance issues, non-discrimination testing, recordkeeping, asset reconciliation and IRS filings. Susan received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
